Today we poured the equipment pad and some planter borders and set the first course of 5 steps that lead out of the sunken bar. The borders will be hidden under the composite decking but we needed something to support the decking and keep the gravel underneath it from going into the planters.
 
Brush finish on the concrete pad or an acid finish? Or do you plan to tile the equipment pad with the Abalone shell tiles ?

Well, think of it this way, now you can get a PINK one ... yay!!
