Vegas OB! Just got plans back and need some feedback (pics included :) )

The furniture actually came yesterday so the shipping was 1 day so I was VERY surprised!
So update for today, after some unforeseen delay the guys are back to work and doing a million detail cuts to finish the back side of the spa stone and work on the steps which which require radius cuts and the stone on the front of the steps. These guys have been out here working and cutting for 2 days and it doesn't seem like a lot of work but it is very tedious.

We were just in Vegas last month and hubby and I did the helicopter tour of Hoover Dam and landed in the GC. So fun!

Linz

My mom and aunt go to Vegas every year for a week for the last 15 years and a few years ago for my moms bday, we all pitched in and they did the same tour, landed in the Grand Canyon, had lunch and wine, explored, and then flew back. It was a bucket list moment for sure and she was so happy. I want to do it one day too. They are going back again in July and then the three of us will be going together back there in Oct. Sounds like you had the same experience on the tour that she did.

Will, it looks great. The stone guys and PB have asked me a few times if I wanted stone on the risers of my steps and I didn't think I did but it looks nice on yours and would flow given the stone is on the face of the stairs that are part of the beam. Your pics may change my mind!

I agree the stone looks WAY better! It was a last minute change and I'm glad I did it, it enhances the look and adds so much detail.
AmyJo- it truly is a great view and I can't wait to sit on the patio and just enjoy it for the next 10+ years

Will, I think you have changed me and hubby's mind about the risers. Now to see if we currently have enough stone to do it without ordering more bc we already had an issue with our stone lol

Lol, I know that exact feeling. All the different builds on here has made me modify my design so much and although it can be head scratching it has all been for the better My pool has came out way better than when I thought it would and I'm glad I'm doing it now versus looking back later and say I wish I would have done this

Reactions: BUT ITS A DRY HEAT
Thank you all for the compliments. I can't wait till we can swim :)
Next up is posting my fill water and picking out my pebble color. Thinking tropics blue mini pebble with glass beads and albalone shells
Looking for a nice medium blue color with no green with water that pops

I really like Aqua Blue, Aqua White, Tahoe Blue (though this one 70% are very blue pics and 30% have green to them but gotta love digital photos...), Tropics Blue looks great in many pics and then bam it has some green to it and then some super blue pics, but really any of them would pop with your stone and travertine colors. Esp with the glass and albalone shells, water will pop! The color we are going with is a richer, deep blue than the Aqua Blue and in many pics looks like the Tropics Blue so those 2 are my favs lol
