Vegas OB! Just got plans back and need some feedback (pics included :) )

Thank you all for the nice comments. I can't wait until Monday when I get home and see how it looks.
On some other news we have a ping pong and pool table being delivered to the house on Monday so it will be a good day :)

So today worked carried on and they continued to cut and glue down the coping. The work looks the same so I don't have new pics of the work but I did receive a package and also had almost the entire block over my house one the pool/ ping pong table was delivered and set up lol.
I can honestly say that it made me happy cause I know between that and the pool and movie room that all my kids friends will be at my house which allows me to know who they hang out with and always keep a eye on them.
Got my test kit in :)

And my house full (think I need to charge the parents a fee for babysitting and feeding all those mouths lol)

Looks like a lot of fun will going down at your house Will. We bought a house with a pool for the same reasons, keep an eye on the kid and who her friends are.
With the amount of swimming that is about to be happening at your place i hope you have a large supply of bleach. I have yet to find a great place to buy it, if i find a good one i will let you in on it.

I'm going with a SWG so I don't have to worry about always adding bleach or pucks.
And my neighborhood has multiple kids at 90% of the houses and there is only 18 houses, so I'm sure there will be a TON of swimming with lots of kids but I'm looking forward to it :)
It will be a fun summer once this pool is done !

Big Will, your backdrop is a thing of beauty! It must be awesome to wake up and look out back! Following to see how the pool progresses but had to tell you I enjoy the pictures of the scenery!

Thanks for the nice comments. Backing up to the mountain side is spectacular and we were very fortunate to get this lot and being in the desert it doesn't really get any better than this lol
Plus I can just take my toys right out my backyard which is a huge plus

Will you ARE going to need to keep some liquid bleach on hand to help the SWG out with that many kids!

I LOVE what you are doing for your family. It makes my heart happy to hear you want your kids and their friends around!

Now start thinking about what you are going to do with all of the wet towels. There are several ideas for racks, hooks, etc. We can help you learn a new skill........working with PVC! There is a neat toy carrier for floats and has place to put mesh bags to hold the smaller diving toys and such.

Ok so I need to get with Wasted then..... I had no idea that you have to add bleach to the SWG. Is this my only option? I want to stay away from any extra maintenance and cost if possible
I will have to look into the PVC work as long as it doesn't hurt my nice soft hands that are just barely returning back to normal lol. That or just hire Joanne and Mike to hook me up something nice :)

Love it! It is a very GOOD thing to be "the" house where all the kids like to gather. I wouldn't have it any other way! Good job!!:D

I agree 100% with what you said and I'm blessed to have the opportunity to do this for my family

[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I say use concrete screws and screw some robe hooks to the wall

Regarding adding chlorine while using a SWCG. It's just a not to practicality and allowing your cell to last a bit longer. Before a big party, many bump their FC by using some bleach to add a few ppm's. Super quick, easy and cheap. If you have great variability in the number of peeing machine hours in the pool, then your FC usage will change a lot day to day. Trying to dial in your SWCG to account for that isn't the easiest. You will likely just try to run on the high side and then do a quick supplement with bleach.

The above is not required, nor in any manual, it's just how many people run their pools. You can certainly just run your cell at 100%, but there are times - big parties - where that won't be enough and having a gallon on hand will be the perfect solution.

When you first start up the pool you will need to use chlorine. The SWG cannot get the FC UP to where it needs to be. Once it is where it needs to be the SWG can keep it there if the pool is unused. You will not need to add chlorine every day just to "help out " your SWG.

PVC will be easy! Well it does involve some sawing and using a measure tape hummmmmmm oh wait and glue.........yeah better call J and M!

Thank you all for the help and clarification, how you all explained it makes sense. And there will be ALOT of peeing machines hahaha and that grosses the wife out so I guess I need to keep some bleach on hand at all times lol. I went with a IC40 but when it goes I will do a IC60.
And I'm going to search through J & M DIYer threads to see if I can find something ...... if not I just think I gave her the idea for her next project ;). Although just a rack with screws sounds right up my alley since I can buy a towel rack lol
