With a CYA of 60 you are safe to swim up to a FC level of 28. IF you can see the bottom (safety)
Yes I can . Very well. We have a field of yellow folwers beside our pool. And after the 3 days of wind and 3" of rain... it's My thought that the pollen off the flowers is now in our pool..

It very well could be that...........the purrfect storm to cause you the problems. You can push the FC to just under your CYA SLAM/shock level and it be safe for the kids to swim. Here is a link the chart for it:

http://www.troublefreepool.com/calc.html Tells me that 87 oz of 8.25% bleach will raise FC 11 ppm. If that's what you intend, go for it!

You poured ~1/2 gallon of bleach in your pool and it turned greener. Refresh our memory, what has been added to this pool recently? Algaecides, etc?
Well and the kids were in today. And it got purty green whole they were on it.
