    What's that hole for?

Stick a hose in it and see where the water goes. A lot of these go in to underground drainage and you may never se it exit. I" not crazy about drains because they take away your chems. Having a pool to full does not hurt anything.

    Winter Time aquapure plc1400

Add a few bags of salt. Turn the AP down to about 20%. Run the pump less to save electric. Check the chlorine levels in a week or two. The apure will stop making chlorine at 52 water temp because you hardly need any chlorine with cold water.

    Water level raised by rain.

The only problem with water too high in pool is the skimmers can't work as well. If you drain every time you are draining the chems you just paid to put in. Just give it a chance to evaporate. Chems stay behind with evaporation. So what if it overflows.. it is the same amount of water that is...

Salt day has arrived, finally so a couple questions

The system will work from 2500-4000. Sweet spot is around 3400. In most average size pools one 40lb bag will bring it up 300ppm. The way I do it is when it gets in the 3000 range I add one whole bag. I never do half bags and I don't keep extras. Just buy one when you need it
