Thanks for the replies! I started w the easiest fix first which was back wash and cleaned the skimmers (pool has been neglected as it won’t stop raining) and that did the trick (flow issue)

Good morning- heaters worked great all winter (use every weekend) and yesterday wouldn’t fire up and got IF code. It’s not gas flow from line just wondering what other “simple“ troubleshooting things to look at? Thank you

We have a table in our spa with a water feature in the center (bought the house w pool). I like the table in the spa but don’t think I would in the pool for above mentioned reasons-head knocker and kids WILL jump off it! Holds a beer wonderful though?

Here in Georgia we are about 15” OVER normal rainfall which would decrease salt levels noticeably. Also, in the Fall in the South when outside air is cold and pool water warm a lot of evaporation occurs especially if you run a spa like we do you can see the steam over the whole pool in the morning

Same thing happens here in Georgia-warmer water with much cooler temps causes evaporation. In fact, my pool this a.m. has an enormous amount of steam burning off now. I’ve noticed an increase in “leak” posts every Fall since I’ve been on TFP

Any advice on cleaning this stone wall without dirtying pool too bad?

Great speaker - I just added one to my yard along with 2 AW-650's that were mounted on the pool house (have 2 JBL's) mounted too. I don't think the rock speaker is as good as mounted 650's but they are good

@Tom- thank you. I tried unplugging it several times and didn't notice any bad areas. I ordered another but would love to fix this one (they aren't cheap). Do the displays just go out? Thx

It's the PS-8. It's not a light issue because pushing individual buttons does nothing so the whole display is dead

Thanks guys- it was installed by previous owner (professionally done) but my guess is around 10 or so years old. I mistakenly put LED and I meant LCD display. The pumps still operate on the programmed schedule- it's just gone dark

My display panel went "dark". I ran through the flow chart from Hayward and all appears fine so I assume the panel just died. Wondering if anyone else experienced this? Thx

Personally I think wired is worth the effort. I have 2 Klipsch AW 650 on the pool house wall, 2 JBL's on a tressel and last night added a Klipsch AW650 rock speaker and I am amazed how good the rock speaker sounds

We bought a house with a pool/spa and it has a poured gunite table in the spa with a water fountain shooting up fr the middle. We use the spa a lot in the colder months and enjoy the table (convenient for drinks) and in summer months pretty water feature

FYI- I cut the main breaker to our pool house a couple of times (was doing work on it) and low and behold the remote started working so I guess it was a reset the aqua logic board somehow

My base receiver for the remote went out after about 3years-it is exposed to the elements but was wondering if others have had similar results

I had same problem (just replaced actuator) and they are correct: manually move actuator to halfway between pool/spa AND switch to off

We have a spa that over flows into the pool and it's cold in Georgia- is there any issues with heating the spa up when the temps are this cold?
