Hello All!
I have recently had zeolite sand install in my Pentair Tagelus 60D. It calls for 325 pounds of silica sand so, per instructions, I replaced it with half the amount of pounds with zeolite.
I backwashed and rinsed the sand throughly per instruction but noticed some sand flowing back into the water. The laterals are not broken as I inspected them thoroughly. I have a variable-speed pump and when the rpm’s turned up I noticed it going into the pool. Is it possible that the water was flowing too fast? Or did I just put a little too much of it in?
Thank you all for you help, I really appreciate it!!
