Yellowish/Greenish/Brownish Powder on bottom of pool

How long typically do people have to slam? Been 9 days for us now.
Sadly, as long as it takes. Might be a few days, might be a few weeks.
Typically, once you get to what you are seeing, they find some hidden algae. AG pools have folds in the liner, steps or ladders that hide algae, possibly a skimmer weir door that is hiding algae.

Yep that pocket is the same area where a LOT of algae was settling. By the looks of it do you think we could only have a few days left? God I hope so. This is one of the worst parts about owning a pool.

FINAL Update!!!

A few days ago, there was no more algae in the pool - and just like this board, it was suggested people then find hidden algae and that is what happened to us....as the day before we had found hidden algae behind our ladders, so we got rid of that and it did not return!!! 🥳

I want to thank this amazing group -- a problem that we had discovered late last month, is now a thing of the past. Thank you all!!! Husband and I really appreciate it!!
