Have yellow algae around perimeter of entire pool. Ph-7.8, free chl-2, tot alk-100, cya-25. Besides brushing which is hard forme todo, what's quickest way to ridthis?
Algae, regardless of the type, first requires a TFP SLAM Process. A SLAM is an on-going process which can take several days to work as the elevated chlorine level penetrates and kills algae. For it to work, you have to review the SLAM Process page instructions and do all its tasks. Most importantly, you have to have one of the recommended test kits - either a TF-100 or Taylor K-2006C. I hope you have one of those (link below in my sig). Please review that SLAM page and let us know if you have any questions. We'll be glad to assist.
