Would you think this equipment is sized okay for my build?

I really wish I had spent more time here at the start of my build rather than when we were in the middle of it. Anyways, I have a 15,000 gallon fiberglass pool going in. We’re going to hook up the equipment this week. We are going with a Jandy 340 sq foot cartilage filter rated to up to 45,000 gallons. A Jandy aquapure 1400 swg and a Jandy 130btu heater/chiller. Equipment is 12 feet from the pool. Would anybody change anything?

Nope.

What pump?

You getting iAqualink control system?

I didn’t get the iaqualink system. I originally thought I wanted to teach my son how this all works on a manual basis. He’s really taken a interest to testing and monitoring the water. I am now regretting it a bit though, because I do think it would be easier.

Whoops sorry I left that out. Jandy VS 1.65 hp.
I would suggest you get the 2.7HP version for a bit more cost. It will be more energy efficient and run quieter.

Aqualink would be the Ringmaster between your VS pump and heat pump to increase the pump speed when the heater runs and lower the pump speed and electric use when the heat pump is not running.
