Working in my pool i manually started my pentair vst pump and now im manually having to start it every day. What am i not doing right? Was working.

Cant seem to get my pentair pump back to program after using manual. Turning it off then pushing start twice doesnt tell me anything, just turns on the pool.

Which Pentair pump do you have??

Is it a standalone pump or is it being controled by an automation system??

Also, I started it today at 2400 rpm and went back out 7 hrs later and it was running 1500 rpm. I guess I'm completely lost.

I suggest that you delete all the schedules that are now in the pump and, as a test, set up just one.. Set it to run 24/7 at XXXX RPM and see if it runs for a couple of days or not.

I assume the pump just stops, but still has AC power.

Just to make sure... VS pumps should have constant AC power, they should NOT be on an external timer..

I havent figured out what it's going to do, not sure it's going to shut off. I turned it on manually because it didnt start , I put it on 2400 rps, at 5 hrs ot was still running 2400 and at 7 hrs it was down to 1500. Thank you for responding!! Thinking I'll leave it run and check it in the morning. No idea what to do now.
