I have an intermatic pool timer, that is only a couple years old, and all of sudden, wont turn on automatically. I have replaced the on and off trippers. Any ideas?
Hmm. I'm not sure there is much to go wrong on the mechanical timers, although I did fry one once when I was working as an electricians helper.
Can you confirm the timer has power?
Can you hear the internal motor and gears turning, or see the faceplate turning?
Does the switch manually operate easily?
We're the tripppers properly working recently?
Are the trippers staying at their set time/not slipping on the faceplate?
Are the wires all connected and screw terminals all tight on the wires? (turn off circuit and confirm no voltage present before touching the terminals with anything!)
