I had to move my pool pump because of an addition being put on the house. I dug up the lines, pulled them back 8 feet, and cut the flex pipe off and capped it for the winter. Now i am trying to reconnect them to the equipment and I can not get the pvc glue to react with the casing of the flex pipe that was previously buried, any ideas or thoughts?

Can you post a few pictures of the flexible PVC you are trying to cement. Close up and broader would be great. Also post the cleaner, primer and glue you are using. Are you using a flexible PVC cement?
