Woke Up to Empty Pool - What to Do?

I'm in the northeast, and I was planning to close my pool this morning. It's an above ground steel frame pool. I added water to it last night since it was below the skimmer. I figured I would need to run the pump to circulate the pool closing chemicals. The pump was turned off. I check this morning, and the pool is completely empty.

I did patch up a few tiny holes over the summer, and the patches held up pretty well. So I don't think that's the issue.

Can someone please advise me on what I should do for the remainder of the winter? Would it be okay to keep it empty?

Please help!

The pool will survive the winter better with water in it to support the walls and liner.

Temperatures will be warm this week. It would be best to patch the leak and fill the pool with water. Don't worry about closing chemicals or running the pump if you get water to hold in the pool.
