I recently cleaned my filter and my skimmer and pump baskets. There is no water in the filter tank or pump lines. Should I fill the tank up with water by hose, do the same for the pump basket before I put on the lid, then turn on the pump to get the water moving again? Looking for the correct practice. Thanks.

Ok, nice. Put the suction valve in the middle between drain and skimmer so it is pulling water from both. Fill the pump basket with the hose until it starts to overflow. Quickly put the basket lid on and turn on the pump on high. No need to try to fill the filter with water. Open the air bleed valve on the top of the filter so the pump can push the air out. Once the filter fills with water and starts shooting water out of the air bleed valve close it and you should be good to go.
