Wiring a SWCG with a VSP

You should not wire a VS pump that way. VS pumps should get continuous power to them and use the onboard scheduler for pump run times.

Hi mknauss, I have a similar question around this as I have a VS pump and use the onboard scheduler instead of the timer I had before I got the VSP. I am about to get a SWG and was wonder if I could wire directly into the VSP?

Few VSP's have a relay to control a SWCG. I do not believe yours does. So you will need a timer to control the SWCG. Be sure it is set to only operate during the time your pump is running.
