Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to winterize the water basin for an infinity pool. The basin is 3'X40' and runs along the infinity edge of the pool, it has 2'-3' of water in it and it has 2- 2" drains in it to pump water back into the pool for surge effect. I am wondering if draining it and blowing out the 2" lines is the best way to do it, the problem with that is over the winter snow and rain will get in there and freeze. It is a salt pool as well so if it freezes it probably won't freeze all the way down, maybe 1-6" of ice will form on top (that's my guess). Any ideas would be great.
