WiFi timer/hanna bl100 tripping breaker?

That copper wire actually runs to the ground bar in my panel.
Because it was tied into each pool accessory via the bonding lug and then into the concrete at the inlet pipe, I thought it was the bonding wire/bonding wire only.

Am I good to just add a jumper from my wire nut to the green screw/post in the timer box or do I need to run a jumper over from the green ground in the j box which is not bare/not tied into the bonding lugs?

If you look towards the back you’ll notice both green and bare copper to the terminals on the ground bar

The pool bonding grid should not be connected to any electrical grounds. It is a seperate grid.

There should be an insulated green ground wire from the CB panel to the timer box.

That is the correct wiring.

Can you see the bare copper wire coming into the bottom of the CB panel in the photo? Then a little higher in the photo in the back of the CB panel box where the green and bare copper wire are all tied in to the ground bar?

One of those bare copper wires you see in the photo tied into the ground bar is the exact bare copper wire that runs over to the yellow wire nut in the timer box with the green/yellow wire from the BL-100 labeled ground. There is an additional green insulated ground wire that is in the J box to the lower left of the timer box for the SWCG/pump power junction.

The pool was built/poured/wired 20-25 years ago and the bonding vs grounding write up states Canadian building code calls for bonding/grounding to be tied in however it is not code here in the US.

It's super easy for me to just jump it over from the green insulated ground in the J box instead, trying to learn if it's any better or worse to have that bonding system tied into the ground bar or if that was done wrong years ago potentially?

You are in the US and should follow the US codes.

So just jump it over from the other ground wire to be sure? Both running to same ground bar but insulation could provide additional safety?

Since my "bonding wire" is tied into the CB panel ground bar...it's not actually a bonding wire or at least not correctly installed per NEC code for swimming pools?

I don’t know what other ground wire you are talking about.

Both running to same ground bar but insulation could provide additional safety?

Just do it.

Follow the NEC.
