Why SWG?

Hi,

I just got an answer from my future constructor : "Why would you use SWG ? The technical installation doesn't last long. All 4 years or so, you will have to buy a new system. It is just the little Chlorine that is working for desinfection in your pool. You can have exactly the same thing with a good filter system.."

No, your pool builder is confused...

The SWCG adds chlorine, that is true, that is its job.. This is what sanitizes your pool water and prevent algae.

The filter is just there to pick up the junk that falls into your pool water.. It has zero ability to sanitize the water or keep you from getting algae..

Two totally different pieces of equipment which really have nothing to do with each other.. Other than the same pool water flows through both of them...

Find a new pool builder..
