Why my cleaner flips to its side?

Noticed my Pentair Legend Platinum cleaner (LL505PMG) iften ends up stuck resting on its side (eg two left wheels touching ground).

I saw one time it climbed the wall 1/3 to 1/2 way before it turned and shortly after landed in bottom of pool side ways, stuck.

What could be the reason?

Show us pictures of the cleaner in the pool.

A common cause is that the head float has filled with water. Give it a good squeeze, sometimes they will break apart in your hand. If not, pull it off and shake it. to see if it has water inside..

@Mayorb Glad to confirm the head float indeed is filled with water. When squeezed, tiny breaks are visible. This same issue may have caused the cleaner unable to climb the wall more than 2 feet high. Ordering replacement head float now. THANK YOU Mayorb!
