Why is water dripping/spewing out after backwash?

Cleaned my DE filters and backwashed 2 weeks ago, and this pipe has been constantly dripping/streaming/spurting water ever since. I don't know what the technical term is for this pipe, so I couldn't search. What could I have missed after I backwashed? Thanks!

Can you post a picture of the pipe that is leaking?

Could it be the pipe where the backwash goes into the sewer, typically in a front flower bed? If that is the case make sure your MPV is fully set to filter.

I re-added the picture! Yes, it is the backwash to sewer pipe. The MPV is fully set to filter. The MPV is original to the system (made it through the 2021 freeze). The flow of water coming out of the pipe is variable. Right now its a small stream, but sometimes its a heavier stream and sometimes it pulses.
