TA will naturally come down as you manage keeping pH in the 7's.

No need to focus on it with your water chemistry.

Go test the refill water. Betcha it's high in TA.

Of course. TA and CYA are not interrelated. And CYA is mildly acidic and may lower TA a little bit.
