Just did a full round of testing with the TF100 and found the following.

-OTO = 5+
- CL = 6
- TC = 6
- Salt = 2600 (5 year old IC40 reading 3050)
- TA = 50
- CYA = 45
- PH = 7.5
- Borates 30 - 40 (strips)

CH = 920 Love that CA hard water.

So what do you guys think. I'll adjust the CYA back up to 70 - 80 and probably dump a couple bags of salt in for good measure. But what are your thoughts on the CH? I lowered my 20K pull about 12 - 18" twice during the rainy season, but with the price of water here, not mention the water nazi's, I wasn't about to do a full refill, especially since the water is clear. I normally bounce the PH between 7.2 and 7.5 in order to keep any Calcium deposits from forming.

I am nearly there. But I live 1/4 mile from the Colorado River and our water is pretty cheap so when I get to 1000 I drain and start over. Typically get about 18 months between drains.

You should monitor CSI. It is calculated by PoolMath, either the web version (see link above) or the app. Keep CSI between 0.0 and -0.3. Good for your SWCG and keeps the waterline calcium build up at least a little under control.

Good luck.
