Last year, was my first with a pool. It had to be taken down to level the ground for real this year. I have quite the To Do list before opening this year. Most importantly, the pool needs to be clean and have water in it. But which should I do first? Should I continue to clean or just fill with water and let the pump, new skimmer, and bleach help me? Hopefully these embarrassing pictures are helpful.

Though, I didn’t want to set this pump up. I’m hoping to figure out a better pump to help make my vacuum work

It has so little water in it I'm concerned for the liner shifting?
Can you take a shop vac to the rest and refill ? Like toss a couple of hoses in there to get some water in there fast? You can fill as it is too...but you'll have to then deal with the stuff left in there later.
Liquid chlorine and CYA should be first in to the water. You can deal with pH and TA after filled.
<fingers crossed it all goes well! 🤞 >

The pool is just ag vinyl. It’s also only half set up. I was trying to clean it and smooth out the bottom. I promise I wasn’t going to fill it with the floor all messed up.

Thanks for the shop vac idea. I forgot they can do wet stuff too
