White spots on the bottom of my pool

Just thought of something I noticed earlier and thought I would ask. Anyone that has read any of my posts know that I've been fighting a cloudy pool. Just got new kit and working on trying to get water balanced. But earlier tonight I
noticed some white spots on the bottom of the pool (vinyl liner). Any suggestios of why they're there, is it a bad thing and how do I get rid of them? Thanks!!

White spots huh? Well, one common reason is that some owners previously dumped some chemicals into the pool and the granules didn't fully dissolve (i.e. Cal-Hypo, stabilizer, etc). After a while the granules simply bleached those spots.

If the liner is indeed faded then you'll need to wear a cute bikini so your boyfriend doesn't notice the spots.

Boyfriend thinks the pool is more trouble than its worth (he doesn't usually get in one) so I doubt he would notice them lol

As for the test kit. Yes I got the K-2006C
