Received a quote to have my pool replastered. To replaster with the same white color, $5500 with 2 yr warranty. To go with pebble stone, I am looking at $6700 with a 10 yr warranty. Other than the difference in warranty and aesthetics, is there any benefit that pebble stone has over the standard white plaster? Has anyone on the forum ever used plaster warranty?

Have you ever been in a pebble pool?
Depending on how sensitive your feet and other body parts are pebble can be rough and cause scrapes.
Personally I like a smooth finish pool. The extra warranty is not worth the discomfort of pebbles to me.

Application has a great influence on the smoothness of any product. Exposed aggregate finishes are not as smooth as non. Having more exposed aggregate than plaster is more forgiving with chemicals. In my area white plaster is rarely chosen for a finish.
While it costs more, I believe, there are differing sizes of pebbles down to microsized. They may feel better on ones feet?
