I've only just recently bought my first hot tub and love it. Used it regularly over the last 8 months totally trouble free.
However, I recently had freinds over for a bbq and naturally they wanted to use the hot tub. I noticed the day after though some white staining to the shell of the tub above the water line. I tested the water and found the PH to be very low so adjusted this and retested till it was perfect. I tried cleaning the white staining but it wouldn't go. I initially used a limescale bathroom cleaner then some white vinegar but it's still there. I left it a few days and yesterday decided to do a water change and had another go at cleaning it but again it just won't go. It's not gritty to touch so don't think it's limescale. Does anyone know what this is and more importantly how to get rid of it!!! I've attached some pics.
