New pool owner. Have gone to local pool store that last few weeks and still have the white flakes in bottom of pool. They say the only thing we need to add based on test results attached is acid and that the white flakes are normal for a salt water pool. Is this correct or should we be doing something else?
Did you ever find out the remedy for this? New pool owner here as well. Salt water, just had brand new Pentair IC40 SWG installed and never noticed the white flakes on bottom of pool until today? Quite a bit of so not really sure what to do?

Welcome to TFP!

Flakes from the SWG cell are usually the result of a combination of factors including high TA, high water temps, CH levels and pH. We can usually provide advice on how to mitigate calcium flakes, but we need a full set of test results from a TFP recommended test kit. Post up some results when you have a chance.
