Which mode to leave Leisure Pro series in when excessive heat outside ??

Went to use the tub the other night and it's 102 degrees! It's been excessively warm lately in the high 90's. I did a 40% water change to bring the temp down. I guess the excessive heat is heating the tub water as well correct?
Which mode should I leave the tub in during the summer when it's warm like this? SL mode (sleep?) EC economy mode, or ST Standard mode?
Should I leave the lid propped up a little as well?

Suggestions. Thanks.

T,

I could not find those settings in the manual I looked up, but you want to run in a mode that does not turn on the circulating pump. Or only turns it on one every few hours.

The pumps actually add some heat to the water and if they run all the time can increase the water temp even though the heater itself is off.

Thanks,

Jim R.

My tub does the same thing when it's hot outside. My tub always circulates and that heats the water above the set temp. I have seen my water temp as high as 107* in the summer. I usually just open up the cover for a couple hours when it happens. My tub has a standby mode for changing filters etc. If your tub always circulates you might have a mode like that also that you could turn on for a while. Good luck.

I spoke to my local pool supply place. They said not to worry. So I did a 50% water change, put the pump into eco mode and use the tennis ball I have in there to prop up the lid just a little. Seems to be working better now.
And for those sponges they sell to absorb the body oils, I use a cheap tennis ball. It bounces alone the edges and keeps the sides clean, when I do a water change every 3 months, I throw it away. Works like a charm.
