Which is the proper salt level? - Answered - thanks!

I know the ideal salt level for a pool is about 3200ppm, but why does my SWCG site say it requires such a higher level? Which should I follow?

3200 is your goal since your pool is equal to 48,000 LITERS

Units from Australia typically use a higher salinity than units from the US.
