Just received my new maytronics active 30 from marina pool and spa. It comes with two sets of filters. I can not find any info on when its best to use each style for. So right now i am gonna open my pool this week and there will be all the debris that has made it under the pool cover. Do i use the thin screen filters or that thicker pleat style? In which scenarios do you use each?

I use just the pleated to get the larger debris out, then i put the fine filter inside the pleated filter to get the small stuff out.
During the summer pretty much have the fine filter in all the time.
I would also try and hand net/scoop all you can before running the robot

If you got a 30 model, didn’t you get the combo filter? That is the best of all worlds you have the mesh to catch the big stuff and the fine pleated filters for really small stuff.
HUmmm...mine came with a pleated filter and a fiber filter.
To catch the fine stuff you just put the fine filter inside the pleated filter

Yes i got a 30 model. It came with both filters but i dont see a way to run them both at the same time. One of the other.
