Recently purchase a home with a 13700 gallon salt water pool. I'm thinking about taking over pool care from my current pool person. Where should I start in regards to getting it balanced? I'm working on getting PH in check via pool math recommendation. Do I need to lower my chlorine levels? My salt cell generator (pentair Ic40) is currently running at 100%.

Here are my numbers:

+1 on posting up your own results.

Also, IF we were to believe your Leslies results there is nothing that needs immediate adjusting. You didn't buy anything from them did you?

Will lowering my PH levels to 7.2 bring my total alkalinity down?
In pool math, take a look at the "Effects of Adding" component. It will provide the effects of adding chemicals. Here's an example:

As recommended, wait until your test it arrives before taking any significant action.

I did not. Manager that was helping me was trying to push Phosfree on me. When I questioned whether phosphates really matter if my pool is algae free, he said something about it using too much chlorine.

You cannot make any adjustments with the Leslie test results so post up the Taylor #s.

Which kit did you get ?

Don't know what happened here but this isn't what I wanted to say and my link disappeared.

I got the Taylor Test Kit K-2006C. We'll see how it goes because I am red-blue color deficient 😬
