Where would you put two skimmers with this design?

According to some searches, wind direction is mixed, but most of the time it blows from the south (the house is south), sometimes from the north and sometimes from the east.

The problem is the north and west parts of the pool don’t have decking and are raised above ground. Would a skimmer be possible on these sides?

7,

I don't see where you have much choice... The wall with the lounge chairs and then the wall next to the house... I don't see how you could have skimmers in the raised walls..

Thanks,

Jim R.

I agree about one on the short side by the lounge chairs (east side). Probably on the far north corner.

If the second one were on the house side (south), do you think it should be on the deep part just to the east of the sunshelf (basically in the middle of that side), or do you think over the sunshelf to be able to spread it out from the other skimmer more?

Also I wasn’t clear if they made like in-coping skimmers or something such that it could work on that western side (side with spa)? Or if I could plan on berming up a bunch of dirt and grass to have the skimmer basket be in the berm?

Finally is it something unoptimal enough to warrant adjusting the design? As long as we have enough returns, the water circulation and sanitation should be fine right?

Btw it’s a 34x18 20kgal pool. Will have 5 returns though I could probably get more if needed.
