Where to plug in a Jandy Aquapure salt cell into the control panel

Also, there is an extra cord for the sensor or cell (the black one for the thee prong connection) right next to the cord that is plugged in, indicating the cell has been changed at least once.
All that indicates is that the cord was replaced.

It does not indicate that the cell was replaced.

Most likely, the system stopped working and they replaced the cord to see if that would get it working again.

When that did not work, they decided not to buy a new cell and new trisensor.

That combo looks like the best deal. You are essentially getting the sensor for free, so he is going to order it, and if he still has life in his existing cell, he can have a brand new cell on the shelf ready to go. Thanks for the help!

Good thought. The guy was probably selling the house and he could have quit right there and left it to the new owner.
