Please look at my logs.

I'm around 3-days short of Day 30 on a new plaster pebble pool. PoolMath is calling for 19 lbs of calcium. Is this the right time to add and bring that level up? I believe on startup this was to be kept low to aid in removing the plaster cream?

Turn on CSI tracking in PoolMath.

CH of 200 is at the low end of OK. 300-350 would probably be better to keep your CSI up with colder water in the winter.

What is the CH of your fill water?

Fill water CH is 110.

So do I add it now or wait. CSI is 0.26

Keep your pH in the 7s. What is your CSI with a pH of 7.6 to 7.8?

Round up your CYA to 40.

You need to take your FC up to balance with your CYA level-
Until the SWG is taking over go by this:

That was the confusing part. I added what PoolMath suggested which was about 3-1/2 cups LC (bleach) but that didn't seem it would raise the FC to match the 40 CYA, and it is also suggesting my target CYA to be 70 and to add 4 lbs stabilizer (I put 2.93 lbs in a couple of socks so far). So maybe I'm not set up in the app correctly?

You are reading the app wrong.

CYA target range is 30-60. 40 is fine for liquid chlorine.

Get your FC up to the middle of the FC target range and don’t worry about your CYA right now.

Lower your pH into the 7’s.

OK, so take out the socks of CYA I put in last night and store it in a seal container or it has to throw away? I assume when I put in the SWG I'll need to bump CYA again?

When do you plan to add salt and get your SWG running?

Then keep your CYA as is until after you get your SWG running, not before.

OK, so can the CYA be stored in a seal container?
I would just dump it. I never tried to save wet CYA.

Also, what about the CH?

Focus on your FC and pH for now.

Get your SWG running.

When everything else is good then you can work on raising your CH for the winter.

Get your priorities straight.

I took out the stabilizer and put in all the chlorine I had on hand, One to 1-1/2 gal. I also added the small amount of MA the app suggested.
