When are my fellow central Floridians opening your pools?

Hi all! Happy Spring/almost swimming time! I've checked the Old Farmers Almanac and it looks like warming temps and increasing rain the next 2 months. My neighbors have all cut down most of the trees so I won't be fighting a lot of leaves(yay!).
I just wondered what you all go by when deciding to open your pools?

Mid /late march for us...pool temp 69 today....water xtal clear.

I just wondered what you all go by when deciding to open your pools?

Preferrably before the water hits 60 degrees. Judging from your forecast, most of your extended forecast averages in that range. (Today was hot tho @ 84!!!) Around a 60 water temp is when the algae wakes up. If you have to battle, it is much easier to do while its still mostly dormant. Up by me many do Labor day to Memorial day, well past 60 degrees and excpect to fight a swamp most years.
