What's your current pool temp?

82 also, but the storm clouds are closing in AGAIN! Did not make it into the pool, unfortunately, as the winds were so high. But the solar panels are doing their job. 10 degrees rise in two partly to mostly cloudy and windy days. Can't wait to see what they do on a full sun day!.

Got the solar panels and electronic control all working this weekend. Finally! The panels were off most of the day yesterday while the sun was out sporadically, so we only made 82. But, I was excite... today was going to be the day. The controller would do it's thing, and finally I would be able to swim in the pool instead of working on the pool. WRONG. Woke up this morning in the middle of March. Cold north wind, cold pouring rain, dark skies, thunder, temp 60 degrees. This is the coldest, wettest May we have had in years (last time it was like this was 10 years ago, and I was out training horses in it, so I remember it well). Maybe the sun will come back later this week. Pool is 77 degrees right now, but swimming would not be pleasant, and I expect the day of cold wind and rain will drop it more.
The good news is that BBB works well even when you have to drain several inches from your pool every 3-4 days. The water is crystal clear- I can see every detail of the dirt and leaves on the bottom that the rain has dumped in the pool.

Finally- made it in today. It stormed during the night, but the sun came out mid-day, and the solar panels/solar cover combo is getting me up to 84 degrees in the afternoon. It was about 85 degrees outside this afternoon, but without the severe winds. So I made it before May 15th. YAY! I think I probably could have bit the bullet and got in sooner, but do not like fighting the winds. Anyways, I've got the swimming bug again. Tomorrow is going to be beautiful, the pool will be warm, and I will be out of town. Bummer. By Saturday, it will be storming again.

87 degrees lose 5 degrees at night. solar rings have been able to recover the temperature by noon everyday.

 I hate you! J/K! Only wishing my pool were that warm! Where are you located?

My pool is a brisk 66*F! brrrrrr

We we've got a whole 4 degrees on the folks in Winnipeg - 54 degrees - thats like 1 degree for every 30 miles south. lol. I haven't even opened my pool yet, not with 30 degree mornings still. Ugh! :grrrr:

yep. aeration in the evening with flow fountains/deck jets works for us. we only have a couple weeks we have to worry about this is St. Louis, though.

Oh, and temp last night was 83. Solar cover is doing wonders holding temps for us. Initially heated it to 80.

A balmy wonderful 87 degrees yesterday with solar panels. The air temps only topped out at about 84 and there was a coolish breeze. We hated to get out of the pool.
When it gets too warm, I had originally planned to use a fountain to cool, but with the solar panels and controller we can reverse flow at night and see if that does it. The fountain is going to cause evaporation. We lose about 1/4 to 1/2 inch a day for 3 months without any aeration - that gets to be a lot of water. And, the ph rise from the fountain may be a problem- right now everything is perfect- if only things stayed that way.
