What's your current pool temp?

Our temp is 75 after cool weather and now practically no sun in a week.

This weather has been terrible. Ours is up a little after we got some sun on Thursday, so we're now at 80 degrees. The kids went in yesterday and today, complaining a little bit at the beginning that it was cold but quickly forgot about it. My wife and I got in today as well even though there was only small hints of sun for a few minutes at a time. I prefer 86-88 degrees but I guess I'll take 80 degrees in mid September after the weather in the past week. My above ground pool was taken down about this time every year and it was too cold for anybody to swim as of around very late August. We had that heat wave until Labor Day this year so it may have extended it a bit but I am liking the in ground staying warmer longer.

86 last week with afternoon rain and clouds. 88 yesterday afternoon with less rain and more sun. My favorite time to swim now is in the morning with the bamboo shading the pool until 11 and then it’s full sun on the pool until 5. I’ll appreciate the full sun more when the temps start moderating.

Just checked this evening and it's a cool 76 degrees F.. Closing tomorrow before leafghanistan commences its assault of falling leaves. Short season this year as it was completed mid-august, but just can't wait until next year Woohoo! :bounce:

It's been cool the last week but ours was still 79F today. No external heater but I have been using a solar cover (Blue Wave NS520 14-mil Solar Blanket) since we aren't swimming every day this late in the season. The cover is annoying to take on and off but the water temp is wonderful for those few hot days when we do want to swim.
