What's your current pool temp?

My solar cover was taking on too much water and becoming too dang hard to take off and put back on. I cut it up and threw it away this week, and since then my temp has dropped from the mid 80's to 76. Too cold for anyone but me to jump in. I'm sad. I really, truly, hate dealing with my solar cover. But man it extends my swimming season and saves me from having to fill the pool via my water hose, which costs me money and raises my TA and CH big time.

Pool was up to 84 degrees. Was nice to be able to get back in after 2 weeks of no swimming. I was almost positive that swim season was over.

Water was 85 last saturday, but cold rain weather happened this week.
I figured saturday was likely the last swimming day this season.

The water is now 68 degrees :(
supposed to be 80 weather-wise for a few days coming up but
will be quite cold rest of year. Don't feel like
getting a very big gas bill for two more swim days.

Thankful for this season though! Swam more days
than ever thanks to no rain from June to mid Sept.

80. I feel pretty good to be only 5 degrees below some southern pools. But today is likely our last good swimming day (that I have off).
