68F. Replastered last month. Fresh water. Need to start adding salt so I can commission SWG when it gets warm enough.

Water temp jumped 12 degrees yesterday from the day before, from 59 to 71! Back down to 54 this morning. Air temp got to 75ish yesterday and is supposed to be almost 80 today and 83 tomorrow...might be able to swim with a little nudge from the heater. Water temps below high 80s is too cold for me.
I guess it's the benefit and downfall of a small mostly shallow pool- warms up quick, cools off quick!
It's supposed to be colder again (50's) for the weekend.

I usually open in the latter half of April and close in mid to late October, both being variable based on mother natures whims. Both solar and natural gas heaters help with things along the way especially at the beginning and end of the season.

Heck no, 80 is absolute minimum, 85 is better and 87 is preferred.
We were 72 yesterday, then it was 31 last night and we dropped to 67.

Agreed.... 85+ is ideal for this thin blooded Floridian. 92 is about perfect for a night swim, lol...
