What’s the point of the weekly scheduler?

I just got my new Warrior SE, my first robot. What I can’t figure out from the instructions is the point of the weekly scheduling feature. If you have to manually place the unit in the pool how does the schedulers provide any additional convenience? How are you all using this feature?

It is an option... The unit I have at my house just gets put in the pool and turned on only when I want to use it..

I have two units, in rent house pools, that stay in the water 24/7.. I use the weekly schedule for them.

I don't like seeing the cleaner in my pool, but I'm not as picky about the other pools..
