Liner replaced on my pool last weekend and filled by hose. I have been using my Taylor kit and adding the appropriate chemicals. TA and PH are high so I added muriatic acid today to reduce Ph to 7.0. What’s the easiest way to aerate to increase Ph now?
Is it building pvc “fountains” on returns? My husband does have an air compressor, is there a solution using that???

No real reason to stress over the TA. Test your pH every other day or three and adjust it to keep in the 7's. The TA will come down with time.

If you are dead set on aeration, folks have come up with all kinds of ways. Issue with an air compressor can be the oil that the air carries. Be ware of that. Search aeration on the forum.

I do a couple things to aerate my water. I have two deck jets that I increase their distance to the max so that we can disrupt as much water as possible. I also use a my auto cover pump in our little area that we call the "beach" which is maybe 2-3 inches deep. I'll put the discharge up in the air and that gives me 3 streams for aeration. It took me a couple hours to raise my PH up.
