What underwater glue or waterproof epoxy do you find works best for reattaching plastic basket-cover triangular sloped cover tabs under force?

In my so-called self-cleaning pool system, the skimmers are unfiltered so it's the main drain in the deep end that pulls up all debris onto the deck into this debris basket contraption which has to have the pressure cap securely twisted into place using these four triangular shaped basket-cover locking tabs.

There is upward force on this rounded cover plate, which is why the tabs over time fall off (mostly when you unscrew and screw in the cover plate to access the debris basket to empty it out).
With that in mind, I need a STRONG glue of some sort that can handle the water pressure and the wetness that will inevitably happen when I glue these two missing locking tabs into place.

What underwater glue or epoxy might you recommend that you've had success with that I can easily get online or at the local box hardware stores?

No guarantees, but you can try Plast-Aid. If the plastic is right, it chemically welds to the parts instead of just relying on adhesive properties. There is a lot of pressure on those tiny parts.

How would you work around the paramount debris collection net system falling apart every couple of years?

All I really need is a better ring than the cheap expensive plastic that Paramount uses.
Any ideas?

To be clear, the Paramount debris collection basket will leak if I don't replace that cheap expensive plastic net but all I really need is the ring.

Boise has a plastics distributor with a scrap bin from which we occasionally scavenge raw material - previously cut plates, pipes, angles, etc. You might find some flat stock in the correct thickness that you could use to fab a ring with simple hand tools.

Another option might be to find an acquaintance with a 3-D printer. My son has one and is always ready to build me another new do-dad.

I'd seek out a local 3D printing club and go tell them that I didn't think they could figure it out. Hehe. Oh. You did ??? THANKS.
