Check it out. It has a sticker with a number A420935. But I cannot find out what piece of equipment this is or more importantly what oring it takes.
Notes: I have all Hayward equip for what it’s worth. I don’t use this stupid thing but it has a small leak and the current oring has calcium etc precipitate all over it. It is sized for 3” pucks. Thanks y’all!!
If I wanted to simply remove the inline chlorinator, looks like I would need a 1/2” NPT plug for the smaller red circle. That seems easy enough. But then I’d need a cap, perhaps that would accept an oring, for the larger red circle. Any idea the thread and size of the bus red circle and if I could get a cap that would seal?
I used a little tape on mine, but there was a thread on here saying not to use tape because it can cause excessive torque on the fittings and break something. I didn't use gorilla strength to tighten it, and it seems to be fine.
