What kind of sanitation system?

Can someone please point me in the right direction? I cannot seem to find it on this site, but have not read all of it yet.

We are about to order our pool. Plan is to use mainly liquid chlorine except maybe when we go on vacation. Then we may use the tablets, but will monitor CYA levels.

Our installer seems to push the frog mineral leap system or the nature2 fusion system. I am trying to figure out if there is a cheaper option... since from the reading i have done so far, it doesn't sound like we want the mineral part.

We already have a hot tub that use chlorine/ozonator and used to testing that regularly. Don't really want to go salt water route.

This may be a dumb question, so does this mean we may not need any sanitation system? I understand why to stay away from those- just wasn't sure if there is alternative or if we just do as we do with the hot tub and test water and then add chemicals to make adjustments.
