My new warrior SE robot cleaner is picking up everything- last two weeks this is the second time I found this worm in the basket. Seems to be alive. Can anyone help identify?
You say you think it's alive? Did you see it move? If it was a slug, I think it would have its antennae out if it was moving...
if dead, not so much...
Leeches tend to have ridges:
Try this simple test. Pick it up and hold it to the end of your nose. If it sticks there, and you start to feel better all of a sudden, it's a leech.
The OP pic looks like a slug. Poor beer on him/her and you'll kill him off.
The second large pic is a leach.... I've had to handle many of them (usually smaller initially) to attach to wounds in the hospital. The suck the blood then hop off and you have to follow their little blood trail (looks like- _ _ _ _ ) down the hall to capture the lil bugger. They're faster than you'd think!
