what is this? I bought a house with pool and trying to get the pool things figured out. The return line has this thing called "Sparkle Pure model 3000". I searched online to find out what this is and if I can get the replacement cartridges that is mentioned on it. But no luck.i would appreciate if anyone can help me identify this thing.

Or just remove the cartridge if the housing is not leaking. I wouldn't replace the cartridge as they typically contain copper which can stain your pool.
