I’ve been seeing this in the mornings lately before the pump goes on. Could it be as simple as pollen? But I don’t seem much pollen build up outside the pool. Water has tested fine this week. When pool runs during the day, it’s all gone by the time I’m back from work so maybe it’s “normal” to see when it sits overnight?

It's cottonwood seed season and that's roughly what they look like after they get saturated with water. What does your skimmer look like when you empty it?
Skimmer has been nearly empty last week or two. Before that we were slammed with the usual helicopter seeds that are gone now.
Not much rain actually. I don’t see as much on the water this week ironically. Who knows what it really was/is but seems like it’s not making things worse.
