I have been thinking about getting one. Where do you put it? Up stream from the skimmer?

I have two of them; one on each end of the pool. I don't really have an "upstream" from the skimmer.

I found a tiny completely clean bat skull in the pump basket, must have gotten pulled all the way through the skimmer somehow and everything else made it to the filter. as far as the skimmer basket, not really anything too unusual, another plus for above ground pools.
