What FC level is safe for pets to swim?

I just went through shocking my pool due to some type of algae. The water passed all the tests and now we are waiting for the FC to come down.

FC 14
Is a FC of 14 too high for pets? Its mostly for them and they are having a fit waiting to go back swimming!

Anything below SLAM level. Note that this is to swim, if they are straight up drinking from the pool it could become an issue, but any incidental swallowing is not a concern.
